Gifford's travels  - Summer 2007

  at Hatton      

The Thomas Clayton horseboat GIFFORD, towed by CLEMATIS, left Ellesmere Port on Friday 1st June and arrived at the Black Country Living Museum on Monday 4th June.

Both boats continued their journey to Stoke Bruerne via the North Stratford Canal on Friday 8th June and arrived at Stoke Bruerne on Tuesday 12th June to attend the Gathering on 16th and 17th June.

  Next stop was Braunston on Monday 18th June for the Working Boat gathering there on 22nd - 24th June.

      GIFFORD and CLEMATIS left Braunston to return to Ellesmere Port on Friday 29th June, via the Oxford, Coventry and Trent & Mersey Canals and arrived safely on 9th July.
